Wouldn’t find any more successful strategic place throughout the city: the house is located right in the city center, next to a 4-star hotel complex “Klaipeda Amberton”. It’s just enough to go down by the elevator and turn around the building corner, and you’ll face a number of facilities: nightclub “Dr. Who”, bowling club “Honolulu”, massage salon, travel agency “Novaturas”, sophisticated fitness club “Klaipeda Gym” with a swimming pool, famous with their cuisine restaurants “Klaipeda” on the Hotel’s 12th floor and the posh & panoramic “Viva La Vita” (“K”-building) 20th floor , underground parking with a car wash, strip club “Sunset”, the casino and many more.
For those wishing to enjoy the sights of the Old Town and the architecture of Old Prussia (until 1944, the city of Memel (Klaipeda) was part of Eastern Prussia) – enough to cross either Old or Biržų bridges and you will be instantly transported into the atmosphere of 18-19th ages, strolling along the stone block cobbled pavements and the narrow streets surrounded by old, unique and stylish German houses. Plenty of cozy cafes and presentable bars will not leave you indifferent with diversity of their menus and decent prices.
After a few hundred meters along the river Dane in the direction of the Curonian Lagoon you will find yourself at the Old ferry station. Taking advantage of that, you will be able to cross the lagoon and appear on the Curonian Spit – National Nature Reserve, protected by the “UNESCO”. Another 20-30 minutes walk – and you can visit the famous Klaipeda Marine Museum and Dolphinarium, weekly pleasing visitors with their shows.
Excellent transport links to the city center will allow you to get with any means of public transport to anywhere in the city in just 10-20 minutes ride. A trip to the main shopping center of Klaipeda “Akropolis” should take no longer than 10 minutes.
